During a recent visit for institutional research, Hongming Electronics shed light on how AI computing power is influencing the demand for MLCCs (Multi-Layer Ceramic Capacitors). The company clarified that it has not yet ventured into producing civilian MLCC products specifically for the server industry. Furthermore, it emphasized that there exists a fundamental distinction between the production lines for aerospace-grade military products and those for civilian products, making a direct conversion between them unfeasible. The Hongke Phase II Base, part of the company's fundraising investment project, is anticipated to manufacture 400 million MLCCs annually. This production is primarily aimed at fulfilling the requirements of the defense sector, while also venturing into potential applications within emerging civilian domains such as commercial aerospace, the low-altitude economy, and AI. The capacity efficiency is set to be progressively unleashed once the project attains full-scale production.
