On June 10, Montage Technology announced the successful delivery of samples of its DDR5 sixth-generation Registered Clock Driver chip (RCD06) to customers. This chip is designed for next-generation DDR5 Registered Dual Inline Memory Modules (RDIMMs) and will drive performance upgrades for next-generation computing platforms. The RCD06 supports data transfer rates of up to 9200 MT/s, a 15% increase over the previous generation, meeting the high-bandwidth demands of next-generation server platforms.
