Xu Zhijun, Huawei’s Vice Chairman and Rotating CEO, remarked that US sanctions have propelled the swift advancement of China’s semiconductor industry chain, and he extended his appreciation to the US for creating a conducive environment for the industry chain’s growth. Huawei has, for the first time, introduced a novel evolutionary path for semiconductors, termed the ‘Tao (τ) Law’. Xu Zhijun also shed light on Huawei’s six-year odyssey of breakthroughs in chip technology, emphasizing that HiSilicon operates as a cost center and will persist as long as Huawei remains in operation. All Huawei products can now be designed, manufactured, and supplied on a large scale within China, achieving full autonomy from external dependencies.
