Recently, Jiangsu AMT Chips Semiconductor Co., Ltd. has made remarkable strides following its restructuring, with the official arrival of its inaugural photolithography machine at the factory premises. This significant milestone signifies the project’s transition into a new phase—equipment debugging. This development is set to bolster the company’s production capacity, elevating it from 3,000 wafers per month to 5,000 wafers, translating to a monthly output value of approximately 150 million yuan. This boost will inject fresh vitality into the semiconductor industry in Huaiyin District.
AMT Chips, now a subsidiary of Vital Technology Group, focuses on the production of hyperspectral chips, an emerging and promising sector within semiconductor optics. As additional equipment is progressively introduced for debugging, production capacity is anticipated to surge further, exceeding 10,000 wafers per month.
