According to predictions by SEMI, the International Semiconductor Industry Association, driven by the growing demand for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing, initial production of glass substrates is expected to commence around 2028 and enter an early production phase. Initially, they will be used for specific high-performance applications, and subsequently expand to broader and more complex semiconductor packaging structures. From 2028 to 2040, the compound annual growth rate of the glass substrate market is expected to reach 67.2%.
