Amid the artificial intelligence (AI)-driven chip boom, SK Hynix has become one of the world's most valuable chipmakers, with a market capitalization exceeding $1 trillion, placing it alongside companies like NVIDIA and TSMC. As the world's second-largest memory chip manufacturer, its stock price has more than tripled this year. On Wednesday morning, SK Hynix's stock price surged by as much as 15%, pushing its market capitalization to over 1,600 trillion Korean won, or approximately $1.061 trillion.
