Employees at Samsung Electronics have cast their votes in favor of a groundbreaking profit-sharing agreement. Owing to the flourishing memory chip sector, the average bonus for each employee within this division is projected to soar to nearly $400,000. The agreement secured approval on Wednesday, with 74% of union members voting in its support. This marks the end of months-long labor discord at the globe's premier memory chip manufacturer, centered around the allocation of substantial profits spurred by the AI surge. Prior to this, the union had issued a warning that a strike would be launched if a consensus could not be achieved.
