As reported by the Zhuhai Science and Technology Industry Group, Zhuhai is speeding up the development of a comprehensive display industry chain, encompassing everything from chip fabrication and packaging/testing to end-use applications. In the realm of Micro LED technology, HC SemiTek has launched an integrated high-end chip project in Zhuhai, backed by a total investment of 5 billion yuan. This project boasts the world’s pioneering 6-inch Micro LED production line, which has now commenced large-scale production and delivery. In tandem, BOE Zhuhai Jingxin is steadily ramping up the capacity of its Mini LED production line. Once the entire project is fully operational, it is expected to generate an annual output value of 5 billion yuan, along with annual tax contributions of around 500 million yuan.
