NVIDIA released its latest fiscal quarter results, with both revenue and data center income surpassing market expectations. The company also announced a large-scale stock repurchase plan and increased its dividend. Management sent out positive signals, with the CFO stating that the company's demand is accelerating and raising the forecast for annual AI industry spending by the end of this decade to $3 trillion to $4 trillion. NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun said that the next-generation product line, Vera Rubin, has started off well and is expected to face supply constraints throughout its entire lifecycle, implying that strong demand will continue into the next-generation architecture cycle. He also expressed confidence in achieving the $1 trillion revenue goal. In terms of specific businesses, NVIDIA expects CPU revenue to reach $20 billion this year and to secure sufficient supply to support growth. Regarding the roadmap for inference-specific chips, Huang believes they will remain niche in the long term, and NVIDIA's dominant position in the AI computing power market will not face substantial challenges in the short term. He also stated that hyperscale cloud service providers will continue to make large-scale investments, and NVIDIA's growth rate will surpass that of these capital expenditures, mentioning that AI startup Anthropic has a huge demand for computing power.
