On May 14, Reuters reported that the United States has approved 10 Chinese companies, including Alibaba, ByteDance, Tencent, and JD.com, to purchase NVIDIA's H200 AI chips. Distribution companies such as Lenovo and Foxconn have also obtained procurement qualifications. Each approved company can purchase up to 75,000 H200 chips, with buyers able to procure directly from NVIDIA or through authorized distributors such as Lenovo and Foxconn.
