On May 13th, according to Alibaba’s (09988.HK) financial report, the AI chip independently developed by its chip design subsidiary, T-Head Semiconductor Co., Ltd., has secured broad adoption across industries, notably leading the way in large-scale deployment within the automotive sector. Presently, more than 100,000 Zhenwu PPUs have been deployed on Alibaba Cloud’s public cloud platform. Over 30 top-tier automotive companies and autonomous driving firms are leveraging this chip for intelligent driving R&D. By integrating the Zhenwu chip with Alibaba Cloud and the Qianwen model, a comprehensive technology stack has been established, substantially boosting training and inference efficiency.
