According to the latest update from Bobantang, NVIDIA is set to resume production of its RTX 3060 12GB series chips in June 2026, with the corresponding chips slated to arrive shortly thereafter. This new batch of chips will be mainly distributed to various AIC (Add-in-Card) brand manufacturers. It is anticipated that around July, major brands will commence mass production of graphics cards and gradually roll out spot goods (a term meaning "in-stock products," retained here for context but can be translated as "readily available products" in a full English context) to the market. Leading AIC brands, including Colorful, ASUS, MSI, and GALAX, are all expected to receive shipments, although the allocation quotas for each company will differ, and the overall supply will remain constrained. The RTX 3060 12GB, with its impressive 12GB of VRAM and high cost-performance ratio, enjoys a robust user base in the 1080P and 2K gaming markets. This production resumption marks NVIDIA's strategic move to adjust to market demands, aiming to ease supply pressures in the mid-to-low-end graphics card segment. Nevertheless, due to elevated material costs, the retail pricing will not be excessively low, and when compared to the RTX 5050 and 5060 models, it will exhibit certain drawbacks in terms of both cost-effectiveness and absolute performance.
