Qualcomm has unveiled its financial performance for the second fiscal quarter of 2026. Adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), the company reported revenue of $10.599 billion, reflecting a 3% decrease compared to the same period last year. However, its net profit surged to $7.370 billion, representing a significant 162% year-on-year increase, with diluted earnings per share reaching $6.88.
Breaking down the revenue by business segment, Qualcomm witnessed a notable 38% year-on-year growth in its automotive business revenue. The Internet of Things (IoT) business also experienced a healthy 9% increase. Additionally, the technology licensing business saw a 4.8% rise in revenue. Conversely, the mobile phone chip business faced a challenge, with revenue declining by 13% year-on-year.
