According to sources familiar with the matter, demand for Huawei's Ascend 950 series AI chips has surged following the release of DeepSeek V4. Domestic tech giants such as ByteDance, Tencent, and Alibaba are urgently securing supply orders for these chips, while cloud computing and GPU rental service companies are also moving forward with order placements. Huawei plans to produce approximately 750,000 Ascend 950PR chips by 2026, with mass production having commenced in April. However, due to U.S. export controls, production capacity may struggle to meet market demand.
