On April 29, during a routine press briefing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian addressed a query posed by a Reuters correspondent. He mentioned that according to reports, the United States had, in the previous week, instructed multiple semiconductor equipment firms to cease deliveries to Hua Hong Semiconductor, China's second-largest chip manufacturer.
