Citi released a research report, upgrading Intel's rating from 'Neutral' to 'Buy'. The report pointed out that the demand for server CPUs driven by agentic artificial intelligence is expected to boost sales for all CPU suppliers. Meanwhile, the yield execution progress for Intel's 18A and 14A processes is better than expected. Citi believes that Intel will be a major beneficiary of Elon Musk's Terafab project. The collaboration indicates that under the leadership of CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Intel is successfully building its foundry business. Tan has made reasonable scale adjustments to the company and demonstrated solid execution. Based on this, Citi has raised Intel's target price from $48 to $95.
