Nextorage has introduced its latest G-Series EEA solid-state drive (SSD), named the NN4EEA. This SSD boasts an M.2 2280 form factor, supports PCIe Gen4×4 lanes, and incorporates 3D QLC NAND flash memory. Its comprehensive design leverages DRAM-less HMB technology alongside SLC caching, enabling it to use host memory for acceleration and thereby eliminating the necessity for a dedicated cache chip. Notably, the 8TB variant adheres to the NVMe 1.4 specification, whereas other capacity options are compatible with NVMe 2.0.
