TSMC recently unveiled its chip manufacturing technology roadmap up to 2029, encompassing multiple advanced process technologies. For client-side applications, it will introduce N2, N2P, N2U, A14, and A13, while for AI/HPC, it will offer A16 and A12. Among these, A13 is an optically downscaled version of A14, with production scheduled for 2029; N2U is an extension of the N2 platform, offering optimized performance and power efficiency; A16 mass production has been postponed to 2027, and A12 is planned for launch in 2029. TSMC stated that at least until 2029, all planned nodes will not require the use of High-NA EUV equipment.
