As reported by Videocardz, MediaTek has unexpectedly pulled the plug on its keynote address that was set to take place at Computex 2026, without citing any specific cause. Industry analysts are of the opinion that MediaTek is now channeling its energies towards the N1 and N1X series notebook chips, which have been co-developed with NVIDIA. There's a palpable sense of excitement surrounding the possibility that Jensen Huang might make an official announcement regarding these two chips during his presentation. The N1X, in particular, is designed for next-generation AI-powered Windows notebooks aimed at the mainstream consumer base, and its integrated graphics capabilities are projected to be on par with those of the RTX 5070. Both the N1 and N1X are slated for release by the year's end, with leading manufacturers such as Lenovo already having early prototypes in their possession.
