On April 23, in response to an investor’s query regarding whether the establishment of Tesla’s TeraFab advanced chip facility would spur performance growth, Sihui Fushi clarified that it has not forged any collaborative relationships with the company. Earlier, on April 22, Musk announced Tesla’s plans to construct a research-centric chip facility within the Texas Gigafactory complex, with an estimated investment of around $3 billion. The new facility is expected to produce only a few thousand wafers per month and will function primarily as a testing ground for emerging technologies and manufacturing processes.
