On April 15th, during the midday break, the three major A-share indices exhibited a mixed performance. The Shanghai Composite Index inched up by 0.37%, while the Shenzhen Component Index experienced a slight decline of 0.25%, and the ChiNext Index also fell, albeit by a marginal 0.23%. Focusing on specific sectors, GPU concept stocks witnessed a notable surge. MetaX Inc. stood out with an impressive rise of over 13%. Moore Threads also saw a significant increase, climbing over 6%, and Cambricon Technologies wasn't far behind, gaining nearly 5%. The innovative drug sector showed strength as well. BrightGene Bio-Medical Technology and Hisun Pharmaceutical both reached the daily limit, indicating robust performance. On the flip side, the oil & gas and coal sectors continued their downward adjustment. Intercontinental Oil and Gas and Shouhua Gas, in particular, dropped by more than 4%.
