Kioxia Releases Yet Another Production Suspension Announcement

On March 31, Kioxia, a renowned memory chip manufacturer, issued its most recent production halt notice to its customers on the very same day. The notice declared that certain traditional floating-gate 2D NAND and third-generation BiCS FLASH products would be progressively withdrawn from the market. Prior to this, Kioxia had already ceased the production of small-capacity TSOP packaged products. As per the announcement, the final deadline for customers to submit forecast orders for these products is set for September 30, 2026, while the ultimate shipment deadline is December 31, 2028.
