The ongoing memory crisis continues to push the prices of computer components to levels not seen in years. Following Intel's recent announcement of a 10% increase in CPU prices at the end of March, AMD is also poised to raise its CPU prices by 15% beginning in April. Owing to a sharp spike in demand for AI servers, the supply of consumer-grade CPUs has dwindled, resulting in extended delivery lead times of 8-12 weeks. Market analysts anticipate that prices will reach their highest point between April and June.
