Both chips will be crafted using TSMC's cutting-edge 2-nanometer process, making their global debut alongside the Xiaomi 18 series. This milestone signifies Xiaomi's formal foray into the 2-nanometer era, promising a notable enhancement in chip energy efficiency.
The Snapdragon 8E6 series introduces a novel 2+3+3 CPU architecture. The Pro variant will incorporate the Adreno 850 GPU and provide support for LPDDR6 memory, leading to substantial upgrades in both performance and storage capabilities.
Anticipated for release in October 2026, the Xiaomi 18 series will feature the standard version powered by the Snapdragon 8E6, while the Pro version will harness the Snapdragon 8E6 Pro. All iterations will include a periscope telephoto lens as a standard feature. Additionally, the Pro version will boast a sulfide semi-solid-state battery and 210W fast charging capabilities.
