Beijing University of Technology Leads Kick-off Meeting for Key Project under National Natural Science Foundation’s Major Research Plan

On March 18th, a significant kick-off meeting was successfully convened for the pivotal project, 'Research on High-Energy, Long-Life "Dual Lithium-Rich" All-Solid-State Lithium Batteries and Their Safety'. This project falls under the auspices of the Major Research Plan, 'Beyond Traditional Battery Systems', funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The project is spearheaded by Professor Wei Haijun from the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Beijing University of Technology (BJUT). In conjunction with this meeting, the Development Seminar of the Advanced Battery Materials and Devices Research Institute at BJUT was also held.

This collaborative endeavor is primarily led by Beijing University of Technology, with notable co-participants including Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) and Beijing Chuangneng Huitong Technology Co., Ltd. The event drew the attendance of over 30 distinguished experts and scholars. Among them was Professor Chen Jun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Executive Vice President of Nankai University. The gathering also included the project leader and key researchers, all of whom contributed to the fruitful discussions.
