On March 9, during its performance briefing, SigmaStar Technology announced an ambitious plan: by 2026, the company intends to fully transition its product lineup to cutting-edge manufacturing processes. This strategic move includes the launch of one LiDAR chip and three 12nm chips. These innovative products are strategically positioned to cater to the mid-to-high-end market segments, known for their high-gross-margin potential. The introduction of these new offerings is anticipated to propel continuous enhancements in product unit prices and gross margins, thereby refining the company's profitability structure even further.
The upcoming product lineup encompasses automotive LiDAR chips, chips for embodied AI robots and edge computing, advanced intelligent driving and smart cockpit chips, as well as second-generation mobile imaging device chips (AI glasses chips). Looking ahead, SigmaStar Technology's investment and M&A strategies will be meticulously aligned with areas that exhibit strong synergies with its core business. The company will prioritize key sectors such as connectivity, automotive, and embodied AI robots, seeking out high-quality investment opportunities. Simultaneously, it will intensify its efforts to explore industrial and supply chain collaboration avenues.
