According to the latest projection from the 'Industrial Economics and Knowledge Center (IEK)' of the 'Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI)' in China's Taiwan region, the total output value of the region's integrated circuit (IC) industry is projected to reach NT$6,522.5 billion (equivalent to approximately US$209.1 billion) by 2025, marking a 22.7% increase from the figures of 2024. Within this total, the IC design sector is anticipated to contribute 21.86% of the overall output value, the IC manufacturing sector is expected to dominate with 67.24%, and the IC packaging and testing sector is projected to account for 10.88%.
