The two parties will jointly develop advanced silicon photonics technology for fault-tolerant quantum computers based on Tower's high-capacity silicon photonics platform. This collaboration aims to advance Xanadu's hardware from concept to prototype and ultimately achieve a demonstrable system capable of scalable manufacturing, meeting the manufacturing requirements for large-scale photonic quantum computing.
