On March 4, 2026, Apple hosted a special spring experience event in Shanghai, unveiling new products in China for the first time while simultaneously setting up offline experience points in New York and London. The event introduced six new products, including the MacBook Pro equipped with M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, the MacBook Air powered by the M5 chip, and two displays—the Studio Display and Studio Display XDR. The M5 Pro and M5 Max chips utilize a 3-nanometer manufacturing process and 2.5D chiplet packaging technology, achieving a balance between high bandwidth and low latency, with AI performance improved by 4x compared to the previous generation. The MacBook Pro series starts at 17,999 yuan, featuring up to an 18-core CPU and 40-core GPU, with a battery life of up to 24 hours and support for 50% charge in 30 minutes via fast charging. The MacBook Air series starts at 8,499 yuan, offering up to 18 hours of battery life and introducing a new sky blue color option. Both the Studio Display and Studio Display XDR feature 27-inch 5K panels, with peak brightness reaching 600 nits and 2000 nits respectively, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, and priced starting at 11,999 yuan and 24,999 yuan respectively. All products will officially go on sale on March 11.
