On March 4, Minde Electronics announced during an investor relations event that Guangxin Microelectronics initiated full-scale production at the close of 2023. The company's production capacity is set to soar from 6,000 wafers per month by the end of 2024 to a staggering 40,000 wafers per month by the end of 2025. Presently, a variety of products, encompassing MOS field-effect transistors (ranging from 45 to 200V) and VDMOS (spanning 60 to 2000V), have successfully entered mass production. Additionally, high-voltage IGBTs and 700V high-voltage BCDs have progressed to the customer tape-out and product introduction phases. The 6-inch production line boasts flexible manufacturing capabilities and high reliability, perfectly in tune with the trend towards customized solutions in power semiconductor applications.
