After announcing the benchmark scores of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite, Hardware Canucks has released its preliminary gaming performance test. The data shows a significant improvement in the gaming performance of the Snapdragon X2 Elite compared to its predecessor, with frame rates increasing by up to nearly 84% in the three games tested. At 31W power consumption, the chip outperformed Apple's M5 in three out of five benchmark tests, but still lagged behind the M5 in the Cinebench 2024 single-core test. Additionally, Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon X2 Elite will be compatible with over 90% of common Windows games upon its release.
