In the fourth quarter of 2025, AMD basked in a moment of glory as both the revenue and market share of its two flagship CPU product lines—EPYC and Ryzen—skyrocketed to unprecedented levels. According to a report from Mercury Research, AMD’s CPU business demonstrated consistent growth throughout the year, with both shipment volumes and revenue reaching all-time highs by the end of 2025. In the desktop processor market, AMD secured a 36.4% share in terms of shipments and an even more impressive 42.6% share in revenue. For mobile processors, its shipment share stood at 26.0%, while revenue share reached 24.9%. In the server sector, AMD’s revenue share surged to 41.3%, with its shipment share nearing 30%.
