On February 10, TSMC’s board of directors convened its inaugural meeting at the Kumamoto facility in Japan. During this meeting, eight proposals were approved, and the 2025 employee profit-sharing plan was finalized. The total profit-sharing pool reached an unprecedented NT$206.146 billion (approximately RMB 45.538 billion), with each employee receiving an average of about NT$2.64 million (approximately RMB 583,000). The combined total of employee performance bonuses and compensation for 2025 stands at approximately NT$206.14592 billion. Performance bonuses have been distributed on a quarterly basis, while the compensation will be disbursed in July. By the end of 2025, TSMC employed roughly 78,000 individuals in Taiwan, with an average profit-sharing of approximately NT$2.6428 million per employee. This represents an increase of NT$634,400, or about 31.58%, compared to the previous year. TSMC reported robust performance in 2025, with both revenue and net profit achieving all-time highs. The shareholders' meeting is scheduled for June 4 of this year.
