SK Hynix has unveiled its financial results for the 2025 fiscal year and the fourth quarter. Throughout the 2025 fiscal year, the company boasted an impressive operating revenue of 97.1467 trillion Korean won (roughly equivalent to 467.47 billion yuan), representing a substantial 47% increase year-on-year. Its operating profit soared to 47.2063 trillion Korean won (approximately 227.157 billion yuan), marking a remarkable 101% surge compared to the previous year. Additionally, the net profit reached 42.9479 trillion Korean won (around 206.665 billion yuan), a staggering 117% jump year-on-year, clearly outperforming its 2024 figures.
Notably, during the fourth quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, the company achieved all-time highs in revenue, operating profit, and operating profit margin. These remarkable breakthroughs were attributed to the company's efforts in enhancing its technological competitiveness and elevating the proportion of high-value-added products in its portfolio.
In its DRAM business segment, HBM sales witnessed a twofold increase. Simultaneously, the company successfully mass-produced and developed new general-purpose DRAM products. In the NAND flash memory business, sales in the latter half of the year also reached a record-breaking level.
Looking ahead, the company anticipates that the ongoing transformation of the AI market will serve as a catalyst for growth in memory demand. In light of this, it has announced a comprehensive shareholder return policy. This policy encompasses additional dividends, an increase in the final dividend payout, and the cancellation of treasury shares.
