The 71st IEEE International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM), a globally prestigious conference in the realm of electronic devices, is set to take place from December 6 to 10, 2025, in San Francisco, USA. As a leading international forum within the electronic devices industry, IEDM functions as a vital platform for sharing significant technological breakthroughs in semiconductor and electronic device technologies, encompassing aspects like design, manufacturing, physics, and modeling. Alongside the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) and the Symposia on VLSI Technology and Circuits (VLSI), IEDM is often hailed as the "Olympic Games" in the integrated circuit and semiconductor sectors. Four research accomplishments from the School of Microelectronics at the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in the field of optoelectronic and power electronic devices have been selected for presentation at this conference.
