Sanan Optoelectronics has released an announcement, forecasting that the net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company for the year 2025 will fall within a range of a RMB 200 million to RMB 400 million loss. This stands in stark contrast to the RMB 253 million profit recorded during the same period in the previous year, signifying a year-on-year shift from profitability to a loss. Throughout the reporting period, despite enhancements in the proportion of high-end LED products and improvements in both revenue and profitability within the integrated circuit business, the filter and silicon carbide segments have exerted a downward pull on profits. Furthermore, a confluence of factors including a reduction in government subsidies, a surge in research and development expenditures, a decline in investment returns, and increased provisions for inventory write-downs have all played a role in contributing to the company's overall performance decline.
