On January 2, reports emerged that Samsung Electronics shared an update on the development status of its HBM4 chip supply on Friday. The company stated that customers have given high marks to its competitive strengths. Samsung's Co-CEO, Jun Young-hyun, disclosed in his New Year's message that HBM4 has garnered praise from customers for its exceptional advantages. Some customers even went so far as to directly proclaim, "Samsung is back in the game."
Back in October of the previous year, Samsung had already signaled its active engagement in negotiations with NVIDIA regarding the supply of HBM4 chips, as it endeavors to close the gap with rivals like SK Hynix in the fiercely competitive chip market.
