On December 29, SMIC made an announcement stating that the registered capital of SMIC Southern would see an increase, going from US$6.5 billion up to US$10.077 billion. Following this capital injection, the equity distribution will be as follows: SMIC Holdings will retain a 41.561% share in SMIC Southern. The National Integrated Circuit Fund will own 9.392%, while the National Integrated Circuit Fund Phase II will have a 14.885% stake. The National Integrated Circuit Fund Phase III will account for 8.361% of the shares. The Shanghai Integrated Circuit Fund will possess 7.939%, and its second phase, the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Fund Phase II, will hold 11.253%. Additionally, Taixindingji will secure a 5.545% stake, and the Leading Integrated Circuit Fund will have a 1.063% share.
