Macro Micro Tech recently unveiled that it has entered into a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with a prominent Chinese enterprise operating in the transmission field, renowned for its expertise in control equipment and system integration. The collaboration will center on power semiconductor devices used in electric control, hydraulic control, servo systems, and robot core components, with a special focus on the joint research and development of gallium nitride (GaN) power semiconductor devices. This strategic move is designed to bolster both companies' market presence and competitive advantage in sectors such as electric control, hydraulic control, servo systems, and robotics. The specific business activities outlined in the agreement will necessitate separate contracts for execution. At present, the power device products for robotic applications jointly developed by the two entities are still in the nascent stages of collaborative research and have not yet reached mass-production levels.
