Based on the statistics released by the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan, in November 2025, the sales of chip-manufacturing equipment in Japan (calculated as a three-month moving average, inclusive of exports) soared to 420.67 billion yen. This marks a 3.7% year-on-year increase and represents the 23rd consecutive month of growth. Moreover, monthly sales have remained above 300 billion yen for 25 straight months and have surpassed 400 billion yen for 13 consecutive months, thereby setting a new record for the same month in prior years.
