Samsung Electronics has released an internal memo, disclosing the specifics of the Target Achievement Incentive (TAI) performance bonus distribution for the second half of 2025. Staff in the memory business of the Device Solutions (DS) division are set to receive a full bonus, equivalent to one month's base salary. This favorable outcome stems from the AI infrastructure's role in fueling enterprise demand. In the latter half of the year, the DRAM and NAND markets have rebounded, substantially boosting the profitability of Samsung's memory business. It's anticipated that the gross margins will outstrip those of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited (TSMC). Regarding other divisions, employees in the foundry and system Large-Scale Integration (LSI) businesses within the DS division will be awarded a 25% bonus. Those in the Mobile eXperience (MX) business of the Device eXperience (DX) division will receive a 75% bonus. Meanwhile, staff in the Visual Display (VD), Digital Appliances (DA) businesses, as well as the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology (SAIT), will get a 37.5% bonus.
