Benzec Information has unveiled its self-developed EBSS1032C, a consumer-grade SATA SSD controller chip tailored to support QLC flash memory. Leveraging proprietary firmware algorithms, this chip brings its performance tantalizingly close to that of TLC SSDs. It boasts impressive sequential read and write speeds of up to 566MB/s and 520MB/s, respectively, pushing the boundaries of the SATA3 interface. Moreover, it ensures consistent and stable read and write performance for large files.
The chip is engineered with high-reliability features, including enterprise-level 4KB LDPC error correction and end-to-end data protection, maintaining an uncorrectable bit error rate below 10⁻¹⁷. Additionally, it excels in power efficiency and cost management, offering a vital independent solution for domestic SSD manufacturers in the current market landscape.
