Five sources familiar with the matter revealed that the Trump administration has initiated a review process, which may lead to the first shipment of Nvidia's second-most powerful AI chip, the H200, to China, fulfilling its commitment to approve the controversial chip sales. The review has been sent by the U.S. Department of Commerce to the State Department, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Defense for evaluation.
