Unigroup Guoxin Microelectronics announced in the evening that the board meeting reviewed and approved relevant proposals, deciding to establish a central research institute. This institute will focus on researching edge AI chips for applications such as autonomous driving, new types of memory and special-purpose chips based on two-dimensional material devices, as well as high-performance special-purpose sensor chips. Meanwhile, to meet business and management needs, the company has optimized and adjusted its original internal management structure. The adjusted structure now includes seven departments, such as the Board Office.
