According to two insiders, due to order volumes exceeding current production capacity, Nvidia (NVDA) has informed its Chinese customers that it is evaluating an increase in production capacity for its high-performance H200 artificial intelligence chips. Previously, on Tuesday, U.S. President Trump stated that the U.S. government would allow Nvidia to export its second-fastest artificial intelligence chip, the H200 processor, to China and charge a 25% fee for related sales. Nvidia's plan to expand production comes against this backdrop.
