Recently, the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) unveiled two pivotal international standards in the realm of power semiconductor devices, which were revised under China's leadership. These standards are 'Semiconductor Devices Part 2: Discrete Devices Rectifier Diodes' and 'Semiconductor Devices Part 6: Discrete Devices Thyristors'.

This achievement marks a substantial milestone in China's active participation in the international standardization efforts for power semiconductor devices. It infuses "Chinese wisdom" into the standardization and industrialization processes of global power conversion and control technologies.

The two revised standards rectify the disconnect between technical specifications and product development. By doing so, they enhance the practicality and ease of conducting tests on high-power semiconductor devices.
