According to well-known tech industry insider Gurman, Johnny Srouji, Apple's Senior Vice President of Hardware Technologies and the driving force behind the company's in-house chip development, recently informed CEO Tim Cook of his serious consideration to step down from his current role in the near future. Srouji has also shared with colleagues that, should he leave, he intends to join another firm.
