Recently, the IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) 2026 China Launch Event—often hailed as the 'Chip Olympics'—took place at the Purple Mountain Laboratories in Nanjing. During the event, the accepted papers for the upcoming conference were announced, and the latest advancements in the global chip industry were shared. This year, ISSCC received a total of 1,025 submissions from across the globe, with 257 papers being selected, translating to an acceptance rate of 25.1%. Notably, Tsinghua University led the pack globally with 18 papers accepted, while Mainland China contributed a total of 13 standout papers. Furthermore, universities like Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Southeast University also attained impressive results.
