The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of South Korea said on Thursday that due to the strong performance of major export items such as semiconductors, automobiles, and ships, South Korea's exports will reach a record high in 2025. Data shows that in the first 11 months of this year, South Korea's export volume reached US$640.2 billion, surpassing the record of US$628.7 billion for the entire year of 2022. It is expected that the annual export volume will exceed US$700 billion for the first time.
