As per Taiwan's Commercial Times, TSMC Chairman C.C. Wei is set to head a delegation that includes two vice - presidents to participate in the TSMC Open Innovation Platform (OIP) Ecosystem Forum, which will take place in Nanjing on December 4th. On this trip, they are also scheduled to visit a number of chip design firms, with Alibaba being one of them. The OIP Forum commenced its journey in Santa Clara, Silicon Valley, on September 24th. Since then, it has made stops in Tokyo, Hsinchu, and Amsterdam, with Nanjing marking the final destination of this series of events. The forum will zero in on the vast potential of artificial intelligence (AI). Moreover, it aims to devise next - generation design solutions tailored for TSMC's cutting - edge process and packaging technologies.
